auto archiving a drive?

Hello:
Just picked up a Western Digital 1 TB external hd. The main purpose for getting this drive is to serve as a backup for my current 500 gb external drive. I am wondering if any of you can recommend a utility for automatically archiving any files I add to the 500 gb drive to the new drive. Yes, I could do a backup on a regular basis, but it would be nice if their were a way to have this done in real time. Both drives are NTFS. Any suggestions?
